Love in Action Examples!
1. Buy someone coffee and give a compliment on something they are wearing.
2. Make a prophetic card and give it to a co-worker this week.
3. Invite friends or family over for dinner and prophesy over each one what you and God loves about them.
4. Write out 1-5 prophetic words and leave one every day on a car you feel that Holy Spirit is highlighting.
5. Walk up to 1-5 people this week and try to get their names or birth month through word of knowledge.
6. Pray for the first person that you see that needs healing (limping, wearing a brace/cast, etc.) when you walk in to a store or place of business.
7. Ask the Lord for a description of someone and what He would like you to pray for them for and then go find them.
8. Ask the Lord (and friends to pray and share) for a description of someone and what He would like you to pray for them for and then go find them.
9. Ask 3 people this week "Is your favorite color ______?" - We're expecting the Lord to give us the words in the moment on this.
10. Hug a random person this week that looks downcast. - Ask first depending on the situation.
11. Make a prophetic card or painting and give it to a friend of yours that goes to your church.
12. Make a drawing of a human body with a red circle around the part of the body that needs healing. Heal that person by having them hold on to the drawing.
13. Use your shadow to heal someone this week like in Acts 5:15.
14. Get a piece of cloth and pray over it for healing. Use it to heal someone like in Acts 19:12.
15. Draw body parts on the sidewalk with sidewalk chalk and have people step into the sidewalk drawings to be healed.
16. Ask Holy Spirit for a prophetic song for someone. Then ask if you can sing it over them.
17. Before you pray for someone's healing this week ask Holy Spirit how you should do it.
18. Buy someone a coffee or meal and ask if you can pray for them.
19. Ask someone you don't know, "Can I bless you? or "Can I speak a blessing over your life? Then give that person a prophetic word of encouragement.
20. Ask the Lord to highlight someone to you and then go tell them that the Lord highlighted them and you would like to see if you can pray for them for anything in particular.
21. This week ask Holy Spirit to highlight someone with whom you can share your personal, salvation testimony. Choose someone that you do not know yet. Trust that God will use your testimony to greatly encourage them towards Jesus. Let them know that Jesus wants to help them, too!
22. This week when you see a person that stands out to you. Ask Holy Spirit for a name or birthday for them. After you say hello ask them, "Does the name __________ mean anything to you?" or "Is your birthday in (month) or is the (month) special to you?"
23. At your workplace this week, ask Holy Spirit about some specific details for your co-workers. Ask Holy Spirit things like: What is their favorite movie? What is their favorite food dish? What month are they born in? What are their parent's name? etc. At some point see if you were right and explain how you are practicing hearing God's voice. Give them a word of encouragement to bless them.
24. Pay it forward this week. Pay some $ for the coffee or food for the car behind you in the drive-thru with a note from the heart of God for them. - Sometimes a note is not an option.
25. This week ask Holy Spirit for a friend or family member that needs a God encounter. Ask Holy Spirit for something very specific that they may need. Pray into how you can help meet that need for them.
26. Look for a need on Craigslist (single mother's or families in challenging positions) and see how you can help them meet their needs.
27. Pick a co-worker or personal friend. First, ask Holy Spirit to bring an animal to your mind for them. Next, ask Him to show you specific attributes that make this animal unique and that reflect the character of your chosen person. Share the positive characteristics about this animal with the student / chosen person, and ask if it makes sense or is meaningful to them.
28. Look to bless someone with a random gift that you own. Give something away to a friend or family member. Ask the Holy Spirit for ideas.
29. Inside a restaurant or coffeehouse. Before you go inside ask Holy Spirit, "Who am I to speak to?" Ask Him for clues like the color of the shirt they will be wearing. Then ask Holy Spirit what they might need prayer for. Write those clues down on a piece of paper or on your phone. Go inside and have your coffee or meal but look for your clues once inside. Go up and let the person know how you felt to say hello to them. Show them the clues that match them and share what you had on your heart from God for them. Let them know how special and important they are to Jesus. See if they have any specific prayer needs.
